There are 4 types of membership offered.
1- Professional (P) - $55.00 CND per calendar year (includes GST)
Open to all persons in the food industry including food inspection, food safety, quality assurance, laboratory analysis, administration, research, education, supervision, or practical application of hygiene, sanitation and related fields in the food production chain from farm to fork.
* Discounted rates at spring and annual conferences (each discount equal to cost of annual membership)
* Discounted rates at other OFPA sponsored activities
* Eligibility for OFPA awards and scholarships
* Quarterly Newsletter, notices of meetings
* Peer exchange of scientific information on issues of food safety, sanitation and related fields

2- Sustaining Corporate Member (SU) $175.00 CND per calendar year (includes GST)
Open to all commercial companies, corporations, other organizations or associations interested in the promotion of food safety and support the objectives of the OFPA
* Inscribed corporate plaque for display at your establishment
* Web link on OFPA website
* On registration, free display table at OFPA trade shows (spring and fall conventions, workshops)
* Opportunity to sponsor breaks and address attendees, during biannual meetings
* List of corporate members displayed/distributed at OFPA workshops and meetings
* Recognition in the Newsletter
* List of participants at any meeting or workshop
* Membership Directory
* All benefits of one professional member
3- Student Member (St) $15.00 CND per calendar year (includes GST)
Must be enrolled full or part-time in a course directed towards a career in the fields of food safety, public health, environmental management or similar sciences. (Include copy of valid student ID card or letter from professor with application)
* Special membership rate to encourage student participation
* Special student rates at spring and annual conferences
* Special student rates at other OFPA sponsored activities
* Eligibility for OFPA awards and scholarships

4- Retired Member (R) $25.00 CND per calendar year (includes GST)
Open to retired OFPA members who are no longer receiving compensation for work relating to the objectives of OFPA and who have been regular or sustaining members for at least 10 years
* Special membership rate to encourage continued involvement after retirement
* Special rates at spring and annual conferences
* Special rates at other OFPA sponsored activities
* Eligibility for OFPA awards
